Our Mission

Jane was studying. The problem wasn’t effort. She couldn’t convert what she read into answers when an attending turned and asked her a question in the OR. The 15 minutes between cases were spent Googling — frantically, in a panic. Zero percent correct.

Then she switched to active, Socratic, case-based recall — the way attendings actually teach in the OR. She went from 0% to answering 25–50% of OR questions correctly. That delta is ScrubIn. A surgical board-prep tool built around the way attendings actually teach: case, decision, consequence, repeat.

Plastic Surgery Resident at Loyola University Chicago. University of Colorado School of Medicine graduate. Former UPenn Clinical Research Fellow. Writes and curates ScrubIn's clinical content and recruits the medical advisory board.

Nate Ewing

Builds the product end-to-end. Background in software engineering, product design, and growth. Self-taught iOS developer; shipped a native-feeling app from a kitchen table in Chicago.
