How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings → Account or Settings → Data & Privacy, then choose Delete Account. You must type DELETE before the account and associated server data are permanently removed. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what happens to your data.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data. The app downloads a JSON file with your locally stored profile, onboarding choices, mastery progress, and active specialty. For a copy of the data held on our servers, email privacy@getscrubin.com.
I found a question I disagree with. How do I report it?
Tap the flag icon at the top of any question to send us a report. Include your reasoning or a source if you have time. We review reports and correct confirmed issues as quickly as we can.
Is my data shared with my residency program?
No. We don’t share your individual progress, scores, or weak areas with your training program or employer. If you choose to join a leaderboard, other signed-in users can see your alias, specialty, points, streak, and number of correct answers. We use service providers such as Google Firebase to run the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is ScrubIN free?
Yes. You can get started without a credit card. If optional paid features are introduced, pricing and purchase terms will be shown clearly before you subscribe.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and enter your email. You’ll get a reset link within a few minutes. On the web, use the same sign-in method you originally selected. There is no separate password for Apple or Google sign-in.
The app is crashing or slow.
First try: close the app fully and reopen. Then check for an update in the App Store. If it’s still happening, email hello@getscrubin.com with your iPhone model + iOS version and we’ll dig in.
Can I use ScrubIN for patient care decisions?
No. ScrubIN is an educational tool only. Always rely on your training, your attending’s guidance, your institution’s protocols, and current clinical guidelines for patient care. Do not enter any patient information into the app.
