How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. All your personal data is deleted within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what happens to your data.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Account → Export My Data. We email you a JSON file with your profile, learning history, and saved questions. If you don’t see the email within 24 hours, check spam or email us directly.
I found a question I disagree with. How do I report it?
Tap the flag icon at the top of any question to send us a report. Include your reasoning if you have time. every report is reviewed by a clinician contributor, and we publish corrections weekly.
Is my data shared with my residency program?
No. Never. Your learning data is yours alone. We don’t share your progress, scores, weak areas, or any other account data with your training program, employer, or any third party. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel a paid subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → ScrubIn to cancel or change your plan. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple per its refund policy.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and enter your email. You’ll get a reset link within a few minutes. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use that same option. there’s no separate password.
The app is crashing or slow.
First try: close the app fully and reopen. Then check for an update in the App Store. If it’s still happening, email hello@getscrubin.com with your iPhone model + iOS version and we’ll dig in.
Can I use ScrubIn for patient care decisions?
No. ScrubIn is an educational tool only. Always rely on your training, your attending’s guidance, your institution’s protocols, and current clinical guidelines for patient care. Do not enter any patient information into the app.
